On the 20th March 1980 The Uddin family opened the first authentic traditional Indian restaurant in Market Harborough. Slowly over the last 25 years it has increased it’s size from a 50 seater restaurant to a 76 seater that it is today with some quite secluded area’s.

Food quality and service has been paramount over the life span of The Shagorika and has had some famous diners pass through it’s doors including Former Leicester City Football Manager, Mickie Adams.  Snooker Ace, Willie Thorne.  The Giant of Rugby, Martin Johnson and The Boom Towner himself, Sir Bob Geldoff, whose photograph hangs proudly by the front window of the restaurant.

 

We welcome Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club Cards,  We do not accept cheques but do accept Delta, Solo and Switch Cards.
